Basic Highly Emphasized Suggestions of a Pipe Show:

-We Love ALL Pipe Smokers no matter what pipes they smoke or blends they covet! (Basically what I have been saying on the Pipes Magazine Radio Show for over 10 years)

-Ask Before You Touch.

-Ask all the questions you have. There are no bad questions and asking is how we learn.

-Introduce yourself and make new friends.

-Cash is usually king but, a good amount of exhibitors will take an electronic payment of some kind.

-Support the show by buying raffle tickets, buying a dinner ticket, donate to the raffle, buy a drink at the cash bar in the lounge and lastly, share about the show to all your friends.  All these will help make the show stronger.

-Berating, Badgering, Belittling, Bullying and Arguing will not be tolerated. Basically don’t be an ass, be NICE!

Brian’s Highly Emphasized Suggestions of Las Vegas:

-Drink lots of water. It is a desert out there. Save some money and go to the 7-11 in front of the hotel and buy a case of water for $8.00 versus $3.50 for one bottle in the hotel.

-Don’t forget to eat. Protein bars are some of my favorite snacks to get me through the day.

-Comfortable shoes! You will be doing a lot of walking and standing.

-Dress in layers. It can be warm during the day and cool down at night.  The temperature can be vary inside as well.

-Vegas is a tipping culture.  A couple bucks cash goes a long way.  Don’t forget to tip your bartenders and servers!

Brian’s Favorite Places to Eat:

-In-N-Out Burger is a ten walk from the casino.  Go out the front of the casino cross the street and turn left.

-The Oyster Bar at Palace Station is just dang good.  Walk-ups only, no reservation and the line can get quite long but, boy is it good.

-Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Hotel. French restaurant with out door seating along the strip and a view of the Bellagio fountains.

-Gordon Ramsey’s Burger at Planet Hollywood.  Great Burgers and Truffle Fries!!!!

-Buddy V’s at The Canal Shops at The Venetian. Italian food from the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro.

-Urth Caffe at The Wynne.  The best Cappuccino I have ever had!!  And good food too!

Brian’s Favorite Things To Do (besides gambling):

-Catch a show.  See what shows are going on at vegas.com/shows/

-Have a bowl at a bar.  Most bar areas in Casinos are pipe and cigar friendly (just ask first).

-People watch while walking the Las Vegas Strip. Bring your pipe and go for a stroll.

-Outlet Shopping. I prefer the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets ($10-$15 Uber from the hotel).

-Luxury Shopping at The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace,  The Fashion Show Mall, Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian or really high-end shopping The Shops at Crystals at The Aria.  All of these are on the Strip.
